Yeah, him and Doc Hendrix both. Don't get me wrong. Grisham's not bad at all, but I really kinda miss the days of Doc and Petten.

And I think you're right about Punk. He's not gonna wanna go for a heel turn anytime soon, and frankly, that's fine with me. His slight turn during the Original/Newbreed war really didn't quite pan out, especially since like, 2 weeks or so into the story he backed out the faction to go face again.

I'm sure he's also really waiting for Chavo to "steal" the title back from Kane, since they had that feud going before Chavo lost the title, which also proves my theory that he doesn't want a face vs face fight for a title.

How ya doing, buddy?

I dunno, I'd like to see what Ted Dibiase could do as GM, even for just one night.

I don't doubt Teddy Long's abilities as a GM. Hell, sometimes I'd watch SmackDown just to see what kind of stunts he would pull, and sure enough, I liked some of them. He gave the crowd what they wanted.

I, too, vote for Long, but first, let's see something from Dibiase.

I'm not surprised, really. can't get past the Register Now screen, either.

We're all mad hungry for that money.

Question is, will the winner actually get the money? Or will Vince pull something out of his ass when it's time to fork it over and declare himself the winner?

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Okay, Vince, these death-faking stunts are getting really, REALLY, fucking old, man. First, the car bomb, now the stage falling apart on you after you give away $500,000. Could you please just fucking retire or something if that's what you're aiming for with all of this?

Spoiler:
They should've just inserted Darth Vader's "NOOOOOOO" from Ep. III to dub over that Vickie Guerrero shit. It was, in my mind, a mediocre way to act out being pissed off about breaking up. She should've followed him out and screamed at him, tried to slap him, or shit, take him out of the title run. Ah, well, we'll see what unfolds next week on SmackDown.

Good to see the old RWB ropes again, brings back memories (dunno why).

Spoiler:
Well, that's assuming Vince decided to void Vickie's ban on him, but of course, Vince has been "Injured" for the past couple weeks, so he's probably "not in the position to make decisions like that".

It's sad. I could have been there last night, since I live an hour and a half away, but I totally never thought about getting a ticket. I could have seen Kane do this shit in person, and actually maybe HEAR HIM ASK THAT QUESTION!!!!, because I couldn't really hear anything with the crowd's mixed emotions on the exclusive video.

But I honestly had no idea the writers wanted to push Kane back to a heel. Go figure, it happens after he returns to the show where his main heel run took place.

After watching the actual footage of the assault after the fatal 4-way, I'm really starting to wonder myself who he's asking about. Undertaker's not dead, just banished, and I don't remember what exactly happened to Paul Bearer. Someone mind refreshing me on that?

As far as Vince goes, well...

This sudden change in Kane's character definitely makes me watch Raw again with extra interest. I've always been attached to his "monstrous" role since his unmasking.

So I tune in to watch this shit in what has to be at least an entire year and end up witnessing the self destruction of WWE creative and what is likely the largest shitdump that has ever been laid on RAW.

Clearly they invited Jim Ross to make sure he witnessed that he was in fact, no longer on the "A" show anymore.

Can I have my two hours back please.
You know, I said the exact same thing.

Spoiler:
I, myself, was kinda ready to see a 1 on 1 between Cena and Batista. No sides, just wanted to see it happen.

Shane popping in and putting them against JBL and Kane, not very wise. Hell, none of them are getting along as it is. Woulda been better off with yet another Fatal-4-way or something. Of course, after the last one ending with Kane attacking Lawler and Cole, I dunno, although another "IS HE ALIVE OR DEAD??" outburst woulda given me a few laughs, though.

Jericho's "Final" Highlight Reel was a waste of time. We didn't really need to hear him say all that shit about "maturing", when the sad fact is, he really hasn't. You take somebody's eye out and try to end his career, not mature at all, just downright pathetic.

And forgive me for sounding like I think that was real, even if it was, but I just don't cheer for "dirty" tactics, and I sure as hell don't cheer for the superstars that execute them.

The Santino/Phoenix bit, even more of a time-waste.

Bigger time-waste than that, Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase JR beating up a former wrestler and a commentator that's never competed in his life. C'mon, WWE, stop wasting my Monday nights. I don't come home from work praying for a miraculous way to end the long day just to have this shit pop up in my face.

And finally, Mike Adamle.

We've all talked about what a great commentator he was for American Gladiators back in the day, that's out of our system. We've all blasted that he can't commentate wortha SHIT on ECW. To make HIM, of all people, the General Manager of the ONLY show I come home anxious to watch every Monday night...

... just plain stupid, pathetic, and downright disturbing.

Again, WWE, hire a better team of writers.

Have the Kane ordeal go beyond him just standing there all the time asking "Is he alive or dead?". Let the truth be uncovered. Have him come out during a show with a mic, have him reveal what's in the damn bag, and have him say "I'VE HAD IT!!! I'M SICK AND TIRED OF THIS DECEPTION!!! I'M TIRED OF WAITING!!! I WANT TO KNOW NOW!!! IS HE ALIVE, OR DEAD???", then fucking reveal who he's talking about. Or, to delay one more week, but to still have leveled it up a bit, just have some random guy come out and intervene, only to get put in a match where Kane beats the crap out of him. I don't even care who it is: JBL, Cena, Batista, Punk, hell, I'll even settle for watching Mysterio going out there. I bare no ill will towards Rey, Punk, or Batista. I like them a lot. But shit, someone, ANYONE!!! Fuck, I'm sure Batista would work perfectly. He and Kane have been at it since the Bash.

And we pretty much already know it isn't the Undertaker he's talking about, since Vickie already spoiled that he's coming back at SummerSlam, so it can only lead to one other person in my mind, and that's Paul Bearer.

WWE, think about these things as I go hurl for wasting 2 hours of my gaming time tonight.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Spoiler:
Well, good call on #1, seeing as how JBL got the pin with 1 measly second left, though I still think it's not the right time to give him a shot.

Batista had his 2 ops, but as he stated himself, and we the fans agree, both of those ops were interrupted by outside interference, one of them being JBL himself.

My advice, well, wouldn't make much sense now, since in fact, JBL is officially Punk's opponent at SummerSlam. So, new idea, JBL loses, Batista gets in his face about losing, they fight until the Raw before the next PPV, Batista gets another title shot at the PPV against Punk, but this time, Adamle, as stupid as he is, announces that if anyone interferes with the match, they will suffer some sort of consequence. I don't know whether it should be suspension, an Inferno Match with Kane, a HitC match with someone, or what, I really don't fucking know, but I personally feel that's what needs to happen.

Oh, and may I add:

Spoiler:
Way to fuck up Kane's storyline, shitfucks!!

I think the spoiler tags are used because there are many fans (from other countries if I'm correct) that don't receive the broadcasts or get the heads-up as it happens, and it's not technically our jobs to say "don't read this thread, then" if they were to complain that we spoiled something for them.

Nah, Taker's got the Dead Man image going way too well to throw away for the biker image, especially with the Hell in a Cell match coming up at SummerSlam.

Sonic, it was Todd Grisham and... er... I forget. Is Matt Morgan WWE or TNA? I never saw the other guy's face, but he kept saying shit like "yeah, I lost to Evan Bourne and I have a lotta respect for him" during the Bourne/Ortiz v Chavo/Neely match. But then again, how many matches has Bourne been in since his debut on ECW? I don't have the list.

Spoiler:
Wow.... WWE, you just keep making it worse and worse.

Why Mysterio's mask, of all things? I expected the chain, I expected Kane's mask, hell, I even expected Paul Bearer's urn (even after he ditched the Undertaker at SummerSlam 96, he kept the urn, no matter where he was, as far as I know), but not that. I was ready to see an explosion from Kane, the revival of an "ancient demon from within".

I give up, WWE. I tried to make a suggestion, and you spit it back in my face. All I have left to give a shit about until you rectify this mistake is to watch Dreamer beat the shit out of Colin tomorrow night and to see what stunt Edge pulls to get at Vickie Guerrero before the Undertaker's gong plays.

Spoiler:
Nah, I don't see Mysterio pinning Batista. He'll have his hands full with Kane trying to "revive" his spirit. Basically, Kane and Mysterio will take each other out of the title run in this match.

Honestly, for the result, I can predict one of two things:

CM Punk retaining (something I wouldn't mind seeing)

JBL sneaks a final pin on Punk (retribution) with 4 seconds left on the clock.

While it's not something I'm really all that used to doing, I'll jump in and make predictions:

Kane Vs. Mysterio - Unlike everyone here, I really didn't know Vince's main purpose for bringing him back, so I'm just gonna go along with what y'all have said and say that Mysterio will win. How he'll win I won't predict just yet.

Candice Vs. Phoenix - Haven't really been paying attention to any Diva shit lately, so I really don't care. But, for the hell of it, I'll just say that Candice wins, just to see if Phoenix starts beating Santino like a bitch and steals his title, since he didn't exactly "win" it.

Show Vs. Taker - I wanna say that Undertaker's gonna take this one, but I also have this feeling that, while highly unexpected by anyone, that Vladamir will actually interfere in this match (not saying he won't in the HHH/Hardy), because his whole angle is "looking for a "chillenge (intended typo)"", and who better to possibly give him a "chillenge" than Taker or Show.

Basically, if not a Taker win, then a Double DQ

Batista Vs. JBL - We've all pretty much agreed that JBL won't have another title run, so really, no arguments here that Batista will win.

Henry Vs. Matt Hardy - The only real way I can see Matt win this is if Atlas tries to interfere but fucks up, or if the ref gets knocked out and Matt resorts to some use of a weapon.

Not that I want this, but I'm thinking Henry will get his title back.

HHH Vs. Jeff Hardy - It's been said that Vladamir will interfere and cause a Double DQ. However, should that not happen, I see HHH taking it, but barely.

Jericho Vs. HBK - Cade will eventually stop kissing Jericho's ass at some point in time, but I seriously don't know if it'll happen in this match. Now, it has been stated that he could "accidentally cost Jericho the title, which would not be a bad thing. Frankly, since this whole feud with Michaels started, I haven't really liked Jericho's attitude.

I'm gonna predict and pull for HBK winning this thing, either with or without the "help" of Cade, just so we can have either Orton, Cade, or Batista get in his face some more about how the only reason he even got in the scramble and won was because Orton took Punk out.

Hell, have Punk interfere and cost Jericho the title. I don't fucking care. Just take it off Jericho. Plus, he's got nothing going on for him during the PPV.

How ya doing, buddy?

Spoiler:
I don't think we'll be seeing anymore Adamle Originals anymore. Adamle resigned as of tonight. Least he got a clean unretaliated shot on Orton before leaving. Hell, I woulda gone further than just a slap had that been me.

Kozlov just beat Bret Ha.. erm.. Haas. Who cares?

Let's just see how Batista can hold his own against Jericho in the cage. Been predicting some form of screwjob by JBL. Of course, his best bet would be just to wait for the match to end. Don't think he really has much of a grudge against either one of them enough to screw them out of the title, even though we all know he'll never win it again.

The Kane/Mysterio angle is slightly starting to get boring. It was interesting months ago with the "Is He Alive Or Dead?" thing going, and Kane's new theme is quite the creepy, yet still cool, but, er, getting old.

It seems kinda early for someone like DiBiase to be taking on a movie role in his career, especially in a sequel movie such as The Marine 2. He hasn't even been around for a year in the business, he's not really been much of a headliner, and as far as I know, though this really doesn't matter to the situation, any WWE superstar who's starred in a movie has at least been a face once. DiBiase has yet to complete that objective. Far as I know, all he's done was beat a couple wimps, buy out Cody Rhodes and take the tag team gold, cower his way to a few defensive wins, assault CM Punk at Unforgiven, and then lose the tag titles to Punk before getting his head kicked in.

Speaking of Cody Rhodes, methinks a possible mutiny might occur at Survivor Series resulting in a face turn for the 2nd Gen Team, or at least for Rhodes. Gotta wait and see if Manu follows along on that.

Just a merchandise reminder:

Today... er... yesterday for most, you could say, was the release date for the new WWE DVD: The Twisted, Disturbed Life of Kane. It is a 3-disc set, featuring 8 hours of matches and bonus scenes telling the tale of the Big Red Monster.

Spoiler:
Being a big Kane fan over the years, I knew I was gonna pick this up. However, honestly, I think Kane/WWE/whoever could have picked some better matches to fill the timeslots. I LOVE the fact that they put the first ever Inferno Match, being it's my favorite type of match, despite the fact that Kane lost it. There were 3 more matches that they completely omitted from use.

The storyline has many holes in it between matches picked, mainly around the formation of the Ministry of Darkness, the points in 2002 when HHH accused Kane of murder, and in 2003, right after Kane's unmasking. While it was added as a special feature, the Interview where he set Jim Ross on fire was quite vital to the main story and should have been treated as such, though, I am glad they showed him tombstoning Linda McMahon to build up his feud with Shane McMahon. Least they tried to do something right after botching it the way they did.

More holes include the 2006 storyline where someone (Festus, as pointed out earlier in this thread) took Kane's mask and old outfit and used it against Kane, the Inferno Match with MVP, as it was Kane's 1st win in such a match after losing 3. Come on, he said himself "Fire is my passion", or some shit like that.

Forgot to note, they COMPLETELY omitted the assassination of the Undertaker at Survivor Series 2003, which brought him back to being the "True" Undertaker that he is at WrestleMania 20.

Most of 06 and 07, as well as whatever chunks of 08 they had at the time of compiling have been omitted.

Oh, yeah, another omition from the BEGINNING... Kane setting the Undertaker's casket on fire at the Royal Rumble 98. That pretty much triggered the Undertaker finally giving in and fighting Kane at WM 14.

Well, at least they added 1 Inferno Match. I can be happy with that. I can't quite say this is the BEST WWE Superstar DVD set I've ever bought, but definitely a great one.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
