The closest peice of currency I have to me right now would be a silver quarter dollar (U.S.) minted in 1845. I found it in a regular roll of quarters, and its farily well worn.
Just behind it, on the same shelf, I have a tin filled with various silver coins struck between the 1880s and 1920s. Behind that I have four gold-plated Kennedy half-dollars (one is a centennial), a gold plated lincoln penny, and a $10 silver commemorative piece. Jam it back in, in the dark.
