I'm new to this whole Steam thing, after picking up The Orange Box today.
I'm MervBurger. See, it's like my (normal) username here, except without the space! (TF2 so good) Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Anyone with TF2 who doesn't have the "With Friends Like These..." achievement (and even those who do,) want to help a bunch of people get it?
Just got "Grey Matter" today, so now the friends achievement is the only one I'm missing. (in before xbox360 kid) How ya doing, buddy? |
Yeah, only about 2.1% of users have that achievement.
That, and more fun TF2 stats This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
It's not the best thing since sliced bread, but it's definitely good for what it does, a first-person (shooter) puzzle game. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Rockstar apparently made a deal to have a bunch of their games that had PC releases put on Steam.
So if you for some reason haven't played any of the GTAs, Max Paynes or Manhunt, you can redeem yourself now by buying them. They currently have a bunch of bundles right now: Max Payne Bundle ($14.95) Max Payne Max Payne 2 Grand Theft Auto Collection ($29.95) Grand Theft Auto Grand Theft Auto 2 Grand Theft Auto 3 Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Rockstar Collection ($59.95 discount price of $53.95 until 01/11) Grand Theft Auto Collection Max Payne Collection Manhunt Midnight Club 2 Wild Metal Supposedly there's some region locking right now, so it's possible people outside of the US could be getting less (or nothing at all) currently. Sounds pretty worth it if you haven't played any of the games and want to on the PC. (It is worth noting that Rockstar offers GTA, GTA 2 and Wild Metal for free themselves if you just want those.) I was speaking idiomatically. |
