Who cares about the DS lite. Seriously.

I can't wait for the Opera web browser to hit for the DS. I just like the idea of browsing the web where ever there's a WiFi access point, who needs a laptop.

Not to mention, I want to be able to go "OH SHIT! I LEFT 4CHAN ON MY DS!"

Jam it back in, in the dark.

In all seriousness, I'm sure it's exactly like using a current DS.

Which I have already. It would be money wasted, to me.

I haven't gotten to use one of them? OF FUCKING COURSE I heven't tried it.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Like the DS lite is so much smaller, and thus more portable, than the current DS.

You saw the pictures in the first post, there isn't that much of a difference in size between the two.

So far, I fail to see a reason to really just immediately throw money at this. I'm not really seeing the adjustable brightness as a "must-have," and I don't really care about the better screen quality (my DS blows away my SP, and that's all I care about.) The only thing I see as a difference is that I want to call it the "iDS," what with the whole iBook look going.

If you don't already have a DS, I could see getting the DS lite. If you already have a DS, why fucking bother?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

How many more angles of viewing do you need besides "Looking directly at the damned thing"?

It's a personal handheld unit. For laptops, a wide viewing angle can be important, but last I recalled, the DS wasn't a laptop, and certainly wasn't meant for many people to look on at obscure angles.

I don't see a problem with the viewing angle for the DS, anyway. They try to design it so that you'll hold it in a natural position, like a game controller. And to me, Nintendo has done that well. The only problems I have come across is with Mario Kart DS, but everyone cramps up during that game.

I can save you $100, right now. Instead of buying a DS lite to accomodate them, just say:

to accomodate yourself.

It'll teach them to just ask what you're playing.

In all honesty, I've never had a problem with people looking onto my DS. Maybe you all just socialize with complete assholes, or something.

What kind of crappy photos are those.

Seriously, it doesn't even look like they turned on the backlight to the DS in a few of them. Even my DS doesn't look that bad, no matter how close or far away I am from it.

I was speaking idiomatically.

O RLY?

Then why is it that I go "Yeah, I don't think this is good." or "That's really fucking stupid, gg nintendo" I get someone jumping down my throat about it. "YOU DON'T KNOW DON'T JUDGE ASSHOLE STOP TROLLING"

I just assume tht there's an unwritten rule that you can't say anything bad about Nintendo here.

lol what

I only really consider myself as ripping on maybe, at the most, two people about considering buying the thing. The rest has been just telling people they're idiots, because, guess what!, they're idiots.

You know what? Call me a fucking troll if you like. Fine. I can deal with with it.

But,
1) Don't call me one if you're also going do it yourself.

and,

2) Keep your fucking petty personal attacks out of here. "I would expect more maturity from someone like you."

I'm still trying to figure out what makes you think you can call me a troll and then troll and personally attack me. It seems as if that's all you came here to do.

I don't need you to tell me that I can say "bad" things about Nintendo. What do you think I've been doing for months now.

Are you even serious.

Just admit you threw in a snide comment to try and piss me off. Make it look like "official mod bizness" even though you know Acer could handle this on his own.

That's because there's two types of touch screens, one with that dot grid you're talking about, and one without it.

I don't think it really makes a difference in performance of the touch sceen.

And chances are, both types of screens will be used in the DS lite.

How ya doing, buddy?

I like how he doesn't even realize that with the current DS design that it would be almost physically impossible to use more than one touchscreen at the same time.

It all depends.

If you're retarded and completely abuse your touch screen, yeah, you'll want a few screen protectors.

I'll put my two cents in. I've been playing Ouendan on my DS (up to hard,) and I haven't come across any noticeable scratches. There might be tiny scratches that I'd need to find with a good source of light and looking at it from different angles, but those don't count.

DS Download play is for recieving demos/multiplayer games from another DS and you don't have a copy of the game (in the instance of multiplayer games.) You only need a DS to do this.

The Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (online multiplayer,) is done through either the USB Connector or an existing 802.11b Wi-Fi connection.

DS Download Play is covered in the DS manual (at least, in my DS manual.) I don't know if they've added Wi-Fi Connection details into never revisions of the manual.

Ahahahahaha, way to fuck up that analogy.

Drop a white DS lite into a bag of dirt and tell me it doesn't show.
