Making MPEG/AVI files and SRT files into ONE file???

I'm not really sure why you would want to do that as there are plenty of media players that will play the subtitles and video simultaniously (VLC, KMplayer, etc.). However, if you're really set on combining the two, AVI ReComp seems to meet your needs.

You can also try out VirtualDub and its subtitler filter.
