Snakes On A Plane Impressions
So did any of you guys have the good fortune to see the 10PM showing on Thursday night?
I just came back not-too-long-ago from the screening at my local theater. All I can say is, is that it was an experience. Of course, the movie itself isn't great by any means; hell, the plot hardly makes any sense. Though, the movie itself is much more violent and explicit than I had orignally thought. Spoiler:
The crowd definitely made the experience all worth-while though. Everyone in the theater knew what to expect heading into this movie, and they all went into standing ovations and going nuts whenever Sam Jackson appeared on screen, when he gives his now-infamous line, and when the snakes first debuted. One funny moment was Spoiler:
I highly suggest you guys check out the film. It's great, mindless fun, and it's a well-deserved breath of fresh air after all of these summer flops that we've seen thus far. At least you won't go away disappointed if you go into the flick knowing that it's a B-Movie Horror Film. And hell, it's fucking called Snakes on a Plane, so you can't possibly expect a masterpiece of film. I'm fairly sure it'll do great at the Box Office on opening weekend, and it pretty much has attained cult status. But for you guys who've seen it, how was your experience? And more importantly, how was the crowd? Most amazing jew boots |
Well, there was one crippled guy who sat in the back corner; perhaps he was the guy updating his blog...
A couple people in the crowd were wearing Snakes on a Plane T-Shirts, and they looked official. Some others had shirts that said Sam's famous line. The majority were all high school/college kids. There were a few adults; I'm curious to see what they were thinking. I have to say though, I was VERY annoyed that this faggot-ass Mexican fucker decided to sit in the row in front of me with his 2 girlfriends. Those two little cuntbags of his were all angry that people were going nuts for the movie; really, can't those illegals find the joke in a movie with the name Snakes on a Plane? The gay Mexican actually walked into the theater with one of those man-purses and all. The worse thing though was that this quy actually found the movie scary and was screaming in Spanish whenever the snakes showed up. Had I been in the room any longer after the film, I would've called the INS to deport his bitch-ass. But besides that, the theater was filled with fans of the film, and it was a very energetic crowd. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
