The game itself is just fanservice to those who like the DOA girls. If you don't like or don't care for any of the DOA girls then this isn't the game for you, simple as that.
However for myself... I love ayane and it pleases me to some extent to see DOAX2  By meaning some extent, it somewhat annoys me how they put too much emphasis on sexualizing the characters... I don't care if they gave me Ayane in bikinis or not... I still love Ayane overall as a whole character.Jam it back in, in the dark.
