changing the start point of subtitles?

i have a .srt file that goes to a movie but it's not really in sync. it starts too early. is there a way to change the start time? like delaying the start time of the srt file like 5 seconds so it'll be in sync? thanks for any help.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
