From what I understand, that episode is chock full of scientific terminology and abstract concepts, making a proper translation very difficult and time-consuming.
![]() Jam it back in, in the dark. |
This may be wrong, but do you suppose that the fansubbing groups are holding out until all the episodes are out, to gain a full understanding of the concepts presented in the show, in order that their translation won't be inadequate and confuse the viewers in later episodes?
If thats the case, then it would explain why they haven't officially dropped the project. It seems to make sense to me as well, considering the information I've been given. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I think you may be jumping the gun in condemning them. The more I think about it, the more likely my hypothesis seems plausible.
Would you rather Shinsen come out with 5 revisions of some episodes, because they find out, after watching the later episodes, that the words they decided to use in them were inadequate/improper translations, and that better, less confusing phrasing could be used instead? I'm torn between my lust for the rest of the series as soon as possible, and my desire for coherent and complete concepts and plotlines. I will by no means, however, say that Shinsen has gone to the shitter. Of course, maybe I'm just being overly optimistic again, and hoping for the best possible explanation. ![]() This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
