Perhaps I misheard the BBC Radio report, but I understood that the judge had given the prosecution ample warning about the constitutional problems underlying its case before it was formally brought to court.
If this is in fact true, I find it to be the most disturbing aspect of this issue. It would seem as if the prosecution deliberately followed this path, knowing full well it would be dismissed. How ya doing, buddy?  |
