Gainax seems to have a problem with believable scale.
Now I understand that the current version of the Gurren Lagann is on a celestial scale and all, what with it once being the fucking moon; and I get this whole exponential-growth/spiral thing they're implying; but man, this is fucking ridiculous. Spoiler:
