Also, when pressing f10, does it specifically ask you to insert a disc?
Anyways, in many computers these days the manufacturers include a partition for restoring the operating system to the factory condition. Additionally, they also allow for creation of discs that do the same thing.
A final option that you can try is retrieving the product key for your operating system (it might be on a sticker on the side of your computer; or you can find various utilities on the internet which can retrieve this key), and then downloading an iso of the exact same operating system you are using, and burning this to a disc. After burning to disc, you can us it to install, and when it asks for the product key, use the one that applied to your old OS. (which hopefully you had written down elsewhere)
