Is it only that folder in your F drive? Or is the whole drive borked?

If the latter, just follow the directions I gave Kloak in this thread:
http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/he...d-failure.html

If the former, backup all the data you can on the drive(like Arainach says), and THEN follow the directions I give in that thread.
You can really use any file recovery program for that; like the one I list in that thread, or the one Sir VG suggests.

Finally, after you get all of your data off the drive, do the following.

Unmount and remove your hard drive.
Go to the top of a tall building.
Drop.
Repeat until satisfaction has been achieved.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Oh. Yeah. That works too.
I'm just taking into consideration the appearance of frustration and possible anger that is expressed in the thread title.
Nothing helps relieve anger like destruction. >=D

And yes, your female avatar DOES mean nothing. Killerina Evilova is not a red-headed white anime chick. =P
Also, if you want, I can upload a cracked version of Stellar Phoenix for you to use. (of course you can also just get it for yourself if you are familiar with torrents)

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Here you go =)

http://www.sendspace.com/file/elisc5

Just make sure that you do not write the saved files to the same hard drive, or you very well might overwrite others. If you've done any messing with other data on the drive since you noticed this error as well, that might explain why the file sizes are "0."
Also, be sure to check EVERY part of the scan. If you see files for your collection, and just stop there, you might be picking up the wrong thing. There is a high probability that the scan will pick up multiple "files" of the same name, some with the correct size or no size at all ("0"). You of course want to save the ones that have content. If a file doesn't have any content, but has the name of your MP3, then just skip it, since its most assuredly a dummy.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Which formatting did you use? If you used quick format, it will be easy for the program to recover the data. If you used the thorough format, then it will be harder for the program to recover the data. However, in neither case should you believe that your data is completely lost. In both situations, you can use the program to recover your data. BUT, if you have moved or added any new files or folders to your drive since you formatted... well that is just stupid.

In short, you can still recover the data from the drive, even though it was formatted. Just don't do anything else to the drive until after you have recovered the data that you want to save.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

That really sucks. It looks like Stellar Phoenix can't nab the data. It doesn't make sense that it can't do that though. This is really fucked up.

I'm going to upload Active@'s file recovery program(cracked) and see if that program can pick up your data. I have seen that program find files which had been lost through double formatting before, so I have high hopes with it here.

Download here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/mk0sp9

Just install the program, and run the "super scan" on your drives. It will take a couple hours, depending upon the size of the drives, so make sure that you won't have to interrupt the scan. Otherwise you will just have to start all over.

I was speaking idiomatically.
