I bought a cd of rainfall that helped my son sleep when he was younger. When I was taking stats a few semesters ago, I found that I could concentrate better with the cd playing.
I guess the weird part would be that I played the rainfall cd at the same time that I had to listen to and watch the lectures and it helped me not fall asleep while trying to listen to a boring lecture about statistics. Jam it back in, in the dark.
