Funky Wireless Connection and BitTorrent Problems

Hey guys. Recently about a few days ago, I was downloading a Wii ISO. it ran smoothly for the first couple of hours but then all of a sudden my torrent application (transmission) stopped working -- 0 download, 0 upload. I then proceeded to turn off and on the Airport on my Mac laptop and it would start downloading again. but then after a day, I realized that the percentage of the download stayed at about 75%. I removed the torrent thinking it was bad.

Now, about two days ago, I downloaded something else and this time even though the tracker website says there are 30+ seeds, the torrent application displays "connected to 0 out of 0 peers." occasionally it will connect to 1 peer and download at 0.8 kbps but then it drops down again. I checked that i forwarded the correct ports and even reset my wireless router and it worked for about an hour today. then it stopped working again. ive restarted my computer and reinstalled the app, but nothing seems to work and its stuck at 0%.
if it helps my isp is championbroadband and i use a linksys WRT54G.

My question is this downloading problem related to my router or my isp or my computer? My internet works fine and regular direct dl's go at normal speeds that I'm used to but bittorrent doesn't work at all.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

ok the connection had been stable after that incident for about a week but now its acting up again. For some reason I cant access a wireless network at all from a spot that i connected to from a lot. its not that far from the wireless router and ive logged on from that location before, but now it just doesn't work :\. any help on this would be appreciated.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
