It seems that Cocoe is taking preorders for the LE disc as of today.

At a measly 36 US bucks, it's a heck of a good price. (I expected at least 10 bucks more than that). I preordered mine about 10 minutes ago, along with ordering a copy of the VP reprint. Hopefully this soundtrack lives up to some of Sakimoto's older works. =D

Now with that out of the way I guess we can use this thread for discussion of this OST or something. Up to you guys. =ooo
That's cheaper than I expected. I've never ordered from them before so how reliable are they? Also any idea on the shipping costs?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

And you can trust the website. Never had a problem with 'em in the past, and they ship faster than otaku seems to.
Well I'm in Michigan so I gather it'd be around the same price so that puts it at around $10? Not bad.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

If samples are needed then I can go ahead and post a YSI of Tappy's rip of the demo as well as the gamemp3 release of "Symphonic Poem: Hope"?

I have one last question about Cocoe but is it true they deduct payment as soon as the preorder is made or do they actually take payment when the item is in stock and shipped per the norm?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

For those that already preordered it from Cocoabiz/VGMWorld, have they already deducted payment for the CD?

Well that's unfortunate, for me anyways.

Fortunately Play-Asia are now taking preorders for the LE OST and while they're only charging an extra $3 with the same amount of shipping, they don't deduct payment until the item is in stock and ready to ship.

I was speaking idiomatically.

That's fine. I think I'll go ahead and preorder it at Play-Asia. I would of gone with the original link but I don't have the funds in PayPal right now for the CD and at least this way I don't have to have payment ready until April 19th.

How ya doing, buddy?

Ok I've just preordered the OST at Play-Asia.

Hype+100. Famitsu already reviewed FFXII and gave it a perfect score.

The release date on this item might be changed and we are still waiting for the fixed information for this
item. Due to this circumstance, we will postpone sending your Preorder Confirmation email with the
total cost of your order.

We will update your order as soon as we receive the newest information.
Thank you very much for your understanding and patience.

So it seems that the releasedate isn't certain yet! :/
That's a bummer. Isn't Aniplex the distributor/publisher? They're still advertising it being released on April 19th:

For instance....just look at the releasedate of the Kingdom Hearts 2 OST, which was supposed to be released in December (I believe) and was eventually released a month later!

It could also be that Cocoebiz didn't yet recieve the same info as other shops did (like CDJapan or Play-Asia).
Well that's true. I was just trying to point out though that if the date had changed then surely the publisher would of removed the original date and info from their page, is all.

Hopefully the album is still on track and it's just a case of not enough info like you said.

It seems Amazon.co.jp now have the OST listed, at least it looks like that way:
http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/...915602-8402341

The CD set still seems on track for release on April 19th.

Apologies for the double post. I forgot the "Additional Post" feature isn't working right now.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

The soundtrack is out...Kind of.

It looks like Square-Enix is providing a "Best of Final Fantasy XII Original Soundtrack" on iTunes right now:
http://www.square-enix.co.jp/music/sem/page/dl/

The downside? Seems to be Japan only.

Yeah you can. Also some when you purchase the Japanese version of the game instore you get an iTunes card that allows you to download 5 of the 11 tracks for free. I uploaded the first 5 to Tappy's FTP and a YSI link in the FFXII thread here:
http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/sh...8143#post38143

Not sure how long the YSI so hopefully Tappy will throw it up for everyone tomorrow.
