Koto's Final Fantasy work has to be the best FF figures ever produced and hopefully if the price tag for these smaller scaled models from SOTC aren't too expensive then I'll probably snap up a couple of them.

If you don't want to spend that much money then I'd suggest getting Brady Games' official guide as it's quite well done and has a nice concept art spread in the book.

I'll give a the brady game's guide a thumb through, though right now I'm leaning more towards importing the artbook.

It's more of a strategy guide than an artbook with alot of informative text, all in Japanese, so you may be disappointed.
