It's a stupid trend in the first place. There reached a point at its peak where I honest-to-god had no idea who anybody was, because everyone was changing their username every other week. It's a little hard to care about anything anybody posts when all you're seeing is a sea of sock puppets and paper bags.
I don't care if you could turn it off, it's faggotry that I don't think we really need to be encouraging, because such things tend to have a ripple effect. 4chan should not be our model in anything we do. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
