This came up in class the other day, when we were talking about how Apple got such a foothold in the market by supplying classrooms with tons of computers. I really feel for today's children, not growing up with Oregon Trail. They are really missing out.
It's like the collective secret language for an entire generation of Americans. You can turn to just about anybody in their twenties and make a crack about how you shot 900 pounds of food but could only carry 100 pounds back to the wagon, and you'll get a laugh. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
