They're already shown it in shots and slides online. It's just a wireless Dual Shock 2 with triggers. For the most part, I would've preferred fucking slides. This has been pretty boring so far.

Oh, and nice turn out from Insomniac and Naughty Dog. Not like I was expecting utter shit from them, given the games they've made this gen.

How ya doing, buddy?

Yeah, that's the amazing part. I screamed "CG" the instant I saw it the first time, then got larned about the ways of realtime. Finally we get a girly girl instead of a girly man.

And there's like 3 games for FFXIII. One has been worked on by Kitase's team for a while (FFXIII), the second has Nomura working on it (FF versus XIII) and the last one is a mobile game.

How ya doing, buddy?

HOLY SHIT! $500 for 20GB HDD model!

Sony = Phail

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Wow, it's like that conference was trying to make us avoid the PS3. I wasn't even expecting a price announcement either. Sprouticus got that shit right, they're gone. Even with the hype around this thing, $500 is way too much for what, up until now, as been rather underwhelming.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Yeah, it's November 11th for Japan, 17th for everywhere else. Mucknuggle's right, people are gonna want this like a thirsty man wants water.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Sony used CG last year and they're getting owned across the net for it. Had they showed some roughly early footage and some short teasers the reaction would've been positive now. But most of those fell short of what we saw last year, regardless of how unrealistic we knew they were.

Insomniac and Naughty Dog had great showings though, and Heavenly Sword isn't nothing to blow off. MGS4? Terrific, but not for $499.

Whoa... actually, they'd be more likely to go to the 360, rather than the Wii, since most casuals take games at face value (graphics).

Like Cassamasina said, we all make fun and joke around about it because really, it's not serious business. It's just a name, and that's it, nothing more, nothing less. The only people concerned about the name are people who are concerned about image, and let me ask you, since when was the video game industry ever associated with image?
That's always been my stand on the names for consoles, so we're in agreement there, I don't know where you got that I had any problem with it. I'm just saying that the sheep will buy the PS3 because of the massive marketing it'll have surrounding it and because the other guy has one. Contrary to popular belief, casuals are the most important gamers to these guys, not us.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Yeah, it's just the Dual Shock with some tilt, no vibration and triggers. The PS3, on the other hand, has earned the name PS3DO over on GAF. Seems like an applicable name, so far at least.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
