Ugh. So I got two of those Logitech Cordless Action Controllers. The ‘X’ button on both of them is completely shot. I mean, they still work (barely), but man do they stick when you press it down. It is annoying as all hell, and I swear it is starting to make some games almost unplayable.
I tried taking out the screws on the back of one of them to take a look inside, but couldn’t manage to open it up all of the way. I didn’t want to force the two halves apart and end up breaking it  .
Has anyone else had this problem with any of the buttons on these controllers before? How did you go about fixing it? I hope to god I don’t have to replace any of the rubber padding around the buttons or anything… |
I bought two of these way back, and I have the same problem as you. Eventually the X button would get stuck with little more than a gentle press. Another issue I have is one of the should buttons is also beginning to stick. Aside from that, they're great but this is a big caveat and would love to hear some solutions to this other than buying new ones.
