If you want to, Sphere, I could give you the TM to save you some time.

Me = Cheater.

So I have a billion of every TM in the game.
Wow, that'd be great. There's a ton of TMs I've been dying to use, but since there's only one of them I'm kind of wary of (along with some I don't even have yet or are a pain to obtain).

You want anything in return for them?

I was speaking idiomatically.

Nothing in particular, just PM me with a list of TMs you want.

I'll catch dumpers accordingly also. Then we'll see what time we can meet up online.
Oh, ok. BTW, I keep getting some 'Friend Code is Wrong" message, unless the FC in your sig isn't actually valid.

Or I'm doing something wrong, but Shin's registered with a problem

Oh shit.

It's 1031, not 1301... Time for some editing!
Alright, time to try it out. I've got a bit of trouble though I don't know why. I've got a female modest Feebas with an everstone breeding but all I'm getting is everything other than Modest. I know it increases the chances of the offspring having the mother's nature by 50%, but if that was the case, I'd have more than just one Feebas with that nature by now.

A Feebas would certainly be handy. What sort of times are you normally online? I'm probably between 5 and 7 hours ahead of you but I stay up pretty late as a rule...
Yeah, you get to avoid the fishing deal entirely. Unfortunately, I'm horrible at the poffin making crap, so I made sure to save before feeding it the dry poffins. Last time I tried maxing out beauty I wound up with a Feebas with high beauty, basically worthless aside from breeding purposes.

You can pick the time, I'll probably be on by then since my sleep cycle is all messed up at the moment.

BTW, for those of you aiming for some Lucky Eggs, there's a pretty good way of nabbing them in the Pokemon Customization guide over on GameFAQs. Basically it comes down to:

- Save before speaking to Mr. Backlot at the Pokemon Mansion
- Reset until he mentions seeing Chansey in the garden, then don't speak to him again
- Set Lv 18 pokemon as your leader (with Compound Eyes)
- Bring a pokemon with Covet
- Use a repel and go to town

Basically the only things that wind up appearing now that you've used the repel are level 18 Chanseys and level 18 Pikachus. Got myself 2 Lucky Eggs, a round stone and a light ball so it works pretty well. A question though: If you give a pokemon the egg and shove them in the daycare, will each step count for more exp?

Additional Spam:
One bad thing about this though is that when you steal from them, the Chansey/Pikachu is KO'd and the weaker pokemon gains experience points. Eventually it levels up and you can't use it for this any more (well, you can but you'll have to wade through countless Kricketune, Pichu, Staravia and Roselia to do so). If there was a move that could steal an item without damaging the opponent, I'd put that pokemon where the Covet/Thief one would be.

How ya doing, buddy?

Sphere, I'll get you those TMs as soon as I can. I haven't had a whole lot of time to play since I've been really busy lately. T_T

And I have a crapload of Lucky Eggs also if anyone wants any. <_<
Oh crap, thread came to life. No problem, I can wait and there's tons to do anyway so take your time. I think I've figured out how to get around the level 18 pokemon evolving. If Compound Eyes (or any ability that requires that pokemon to be in the lead slot) still works, then I could just faint it and have the covet/thief pokemon in the second slot. No switching and now worries about leveling.

If only I can get the backlot bastard to mention seeing a Chansey without wading through:

Porygon
Igglybuff
Mime Jr.
Cleffa
Clefairy
Eevee

etc... But could I have some of those Lucky Eggs too? I just brought over a Bulbasaur and Squirtle, and it'd be great to have more than one while I train the green guy up until it gets Seed Bomb then breed it with the adamant female once it comes over.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Just use a Butterfree. Compound Eyes, plus Thief included in its potential move pool.
DAMN YOU. I've already established my thieves, if I had known this sooner I would've migrated my Butterfree from LeafGreen. Not a big problem though, I've got a Zangoose with me with False Swipe and Thief for those times when I want to pokeradar something and/or steal. Then there's Delcatty with Covet, with tons more PP.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Anyone know how to get Wormadam's other forms? As far as I know, you simply go to the correct place and level it up. Problem is, I tried that (going down into Galactic HQ's warehouse/basement) and gave my level 19 female Burmy a rare candy and... it turned into the grass form.

What gives?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Damn, otherwise you wind up with the grass form, huh? And the factory you're talking about is Fuego Ironworks (love the name) right? I don't remember there being wild pokemon in there, or will being near the building be enough?

And I'm guessing the ground form requires you to complete a battle near Mt. Coronet or somewhere with dirt and rocks?

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

So the grass around the factory is a good place for Burmy to pick up steel so it can go down the Bug/Steel path? The ground evolution is pretty simple it seems, and the grass one's a cinch.

How about if Burmy's just the one in the battle before switching to something else? This thing is pathetic and I doubt it'd win even against what they've got in there.

Edit: Thanks IC, it worked like a charm. The other ones shouldn't be as problematic.

Well, checking out the Pokeradar guide over on Gamefaqs, apparently if it does improve your chances it isn't by much. I'd say the only real benefit the radar has if you're looking for a sparkling specimen is that the grass is pretty hard to miss when there's a shiny present.

How ya doing, buddy?

Some people are just ridiculously lucky. So far the only shiny I've gotten is Ditto, and it was great in LeafGreen since I could use Transform and he'd turn into a shiny version of the target pokemon.

Migrated him over to Diamond and he can't do that anymore. Most of the shiny ones aren't that great, since most look like little more than adding a bit more green hue to the monsters.

Late response, but it's cool. I was just breeding Feebas and Dratini for trading on GTS. I found that if I offer either of those I basically get whatever I want real quick. One thing I've noticed, the everstone nature thing doesn't really work with Feebas while my adamant Dragonite has it on her and it only took 2 or 3 eggs before she started pumping out adamant Dratini.

Don't know what's the deal with Feebas, but getting the nature I want is a chore with it.

Speaking of trades, anyone have any starters to trade? I've already got the ones below:

- Bulbasaur
- Charmander
- Squirtle
- Cyndaquil
- Totodile
- Mudkip
- Turtwig
- Chimchar
- Piplup

So if anyone has them, I'd be glad to trade you something for the ones I'm missing. Though all I've bred recently is nothing but Porygon, Dratini and Feebas. Gah, forgot the friend code:

Anyone know anything about this? Looks like the lab from G/S but with the latest games' graphics. It might just be a fake, but there's a good change that Gold and Silver will be remade, just like Red and Blue were.

If it's a fake, they really went out of their way to make this. Though all I've heard of remakes were rumors too, which is why I asked what's the deal with that image.

But why Hoenn? The remake would probably be like FireRed/LeafGreen, basically the same game with some updated things (and maybe something like the Sevii islands).

Like I said, the catch rate of that item in pokemon pearl is less than 5%. I'd definitely like to help you out but I lack a AR.
Couldn't he just use a Butterfree with Compound Eyes (increases held item %, I think it doubles it) and Thief? He'd be able to get one soon enough. This is just addressing this concern, it's obvious without FR this won't work.

Either that or as you said, use an AR.

The last one I bought was FireRed, which was a few weeks ago. There should be a 3rd Pokemon game coming out, that's the "special" of Diamond and Pearl, right? If that happens, I'll probably buy that and look for some shiny pokemon to trade. A shiny Gastly is something I've wanted. That or a shiny Abra.
I'm popping in here kinda late, but Corocoro mentioned last month that Nintendo would reveal the third 4th generation pokemon game come May. Lo and behold, scans are already out on it and apparently Nintendo will deliver the goods come May 16th.

Edit: Whoops, forgot to mention that the name of the game is Pokemon Platinum.

Yes, I know this (now). What I'm saying is, I'm going to pick it up due to the fact that Giratina looked different. IE had no legs. I did not know of this form, so I was interested.

tl;dr

Giratina looks different, so I'm interested as to why. And now that I do more research, I want to see shaymin and regigigas' other forms too.
Oh, I see now. The game will probably give some explanation on why he looks different, since the info on him was barebones in D/P. Maybe some extra dialogue with Cynthia's grandmother in Celestic Town, more books in the library, and the apparent change in plot that leads to the screen in the scan.

Well, it looks like they've revealed Shaymin's second form. It's not all that, looks like a white Chikorita/Bulbasaur crossed with Quilava. All that's left now is Regigigas' Sky form. After that? Probably just new screens revealed periodically.
