[General Discussion] Favorite Boss Fights

Wow, most of mine have already been mentioned. Agni & Rudra is definitely up there because of the convo before and the sweet tag-team action they pull and how much it pumps you up during the course of the fight. That and trying to clash with their swords to get them to drop it.

The final fight with Vergil is one of the best I've played, since he really goes apeshit (or at least, moreso than the first two times you face him). Recently I added Sephiroth (KH2) to that list, considering the massive amounts of rape he delivers.

Haven't gotten around to doing the 49th round of the Hades Paradox cup that has you facing Tifa/Cloud/Yuffie/Leon all at once. Sure sounds like a boss battle to me.

You saw it coming, and this was one hell of a epic fight. What made this fight so hard is that you have to hit him head-on, or the missiles will bounce off. The timer makes it even better.

Oh man, that was one hell of a dogfight. I like how you can see the missile in the background, and coupled with the music, and his arrogant yammering definitely added to the tension.

The final boss, Yami. You go in ready to take him down after getting rid of the other clowns, and then this thing wrings you out and you lose everything. Slowly this spherical freak starts coughing up some of your abilities again as you take advantage of his weak spot.

Once you get them all back, this guy goes berserk. Even with the strongest weapon and all the techniques, he's still a handful. Once you bring him down, he plays dead long enough to rob you of your skills once again. Then Issun rolls in with the hotness, you draw the sun and one this piece of crap.

The music during the fight was fantastic and so were the small cameos by some characters during moves like Nagi or Queen Himiko.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
