Looks like it.. Egg shape and Chansey face and all. Wow, there's not only 2 dinosaur pokemon, there's also what seems to be 2 MORE rivals aside from the other character (male/female and that blonde kid).
Maybe those two are somehow related, or maybe they're just seperate rivals. Imagine, going through the game wary of these four willing to challenge you whenever. Or reaching the end, only to find you have to have two tag team battles against two different teams. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even. |
Nope, looks like a rival. The fact that may happen to be in Team Galaxy just reinforces what I was mentioning. She may, like the digger guy, periodically show up and challenge you from time to time.
Example: She'll fight you whie you inevitably infiltrate some Team Galaxy base, or follows you around to get revenge or something. The world reportedly has a massive underground section, which will likely be mostly inaccessible at first, and that's where this guy may end up fighting you. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even. |

We've got a website that ripped the storage sprites out of the game, needless to say you can see some surprising evolutions for older pokemon (as well a ton of new ones). Here it is. And lastly, the final starter evolutions. I must say, they stomp the R/S/E ones flat. Pocchama's 2nd looked awful to me, as does Hozikaru's but they come back strong. Anyone notice that they were clearly going for Goku with Goukazaru?
Here's the final evolutions for the starters: Dodaitoise [Grass/Ground]: ![]() Goukazaru [Fire/Fighting]: ![]() Empelt [Water/Steel]: ![]() I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even.

Yeah, though I noticed that Empelt is male. They've already shown there's a noticeable difference between the males and females of each pokemon, I wonder what the female Empelt looks like. Ditto for the other three.

Maybe it's me, but I see a pokemon with 4 evolutionary stages. The last two of the first column and the first two of the second are all literally just the same pokemon developing further.
That and do I see Magneton, Likitung and Magmar's evolutions? FELIPE NO ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even. |
And the site with the sprites has the evolutions on there. I always thought Likitung, Electabuzz and Magmar looked like they weren't final. The Magneton evolution is easy to spot, with it's massive eyelike main body and smallish magnets on the bottom. Yes, Nintendo saves up the Pokemon titles for the end of the fiscal year to bump things up at the last minute.

Wow, I hadn't thought about that. What would it be called though? Normaleon?

More screenshots. The first few ones are of the new legendary pokemon, looks like a giant centipede and it seems like that's pokemon #500. There are also wild double pokemon battles. Oh and VS Seeker also makes a return, so you can level up a bit easier.

I think it's the younger form of another pokemon in there. Anyone can't wait to see what Deoxys looks like in this one? BTW, Nosepass is also confirmed to have an evolution.

114 new pokemon for a grand total of 500.

That's a cat, BTW. It becomes all too clear once you see the sprite for it's first form. And while the centipide thing is cool, it looks like there's even MORE "Legendary" pokemon and both look bizarre.
Most amazing jew boots ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even. |
Well, the one with the ribbon-like sprite might be Deoxys' purest form, that being his DNA. That other one looks like a ghost with a red ribbon around it's neck and a billowing cape.
Oh, and I just heard there's a Poison/Fighting Frog in there. Where'd you find out that legendary is Ghost/Dragon because that's a fierce combo. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even. |
It's official, Nintendo's broken a record with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl first day sales. Apparently they sold 2 million copies within the first few hours, completely exhausting Nintendo's stock. Heck, they even shut down other factories in order to pump out that many and still it sold out.
Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even. |
That screenshot's not from the release of the game, there was an electical fire started in a train station nearby.
MORE pictures of legendaries, Magneton's evolution, Chloreon and Glaceon, RegiGigas (if you notice, he has 3 sets of eyes, each the color of a Regi). The top left pokemon, a legendary, is called Hiidoran while the one in the top right is called Kureseria. As you can see, Porygon3 is in the mix as well, along with some Mew-like new pokemon. Oh, and Murkrow's evolution is Diamond exclusive while Misdreavous' is Pearl exclusive. More differences will be coming in, I imagine. Edit: New info, Hiidoran is Fire/Steel. And Diaruga is looking like quite the badass: ![]() All 8 badges: ![]() This is one of the lines for the game in Japan, this one had over 1,000 people. ![]() ![]() ![]() There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's literally the "King of the Kings" and while not a Regi-evo or whatever, he's still part of the same group. We've yet to see that final legendary, the black spectre like one I had a sprite of a while back.
I think that's the only one we need left to see. Oh, and they've just confirmed how you'll transfer your pokemon to Diamond/Pearl: You can transfer 6 pokemon per cart, per day. So if you have R/S/E/Lg/Fr you can transfer 30 a day, though I doubt people have their pokemon scattered like that. When you do transfer them, they remain the same as when you did so and they go to a "Pokepark" where you run around in the grass and recatch them. Now now, calm down, the balls given to you for the Pokepark have a 100% success rate. And only your transferred pokemon will appear in said park. I'm guessing the park exists only to give the pokemon their new sprite/illustration. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even.

No, notice I said transfer, not trade. Basically you have recatch them, ie: they're wild and you're the OT. Here's a massive picture of all the evolutions and pre-evolutions the oldies got. Looks like whoever said Gardevoir gets an alternate form was right, it's Psychic/Fighting.
![]() Man, apparently 700k DSLites were sold today. Back when this gif was made, I didn't really believe it but now I can definitely say... ![]()

Whoa, I didn't make that. I've just been dredging the internet for info, and apparently there's 4 or 5 people in GaiaOnline's pokemon thread playing the game. They're updating as they go along (new moves, like Kadabra's Miracle Focus which weakens Dark types to Psychic attacks further, Gyms, etc).
And as of now we have... 6 legendaries: Diaruga (Diamond), Parukia (Pearl), Hiidoran (Fire/Steel), Kureseria (???), RegiGigas (Rock?) and Chiratetina (Ghost/Dragon). We've still got that ghost like pokemon at the end of the sprite list to go. Edit: Anyone notice that Hiidoran's type is Fire/Steel? Those are the two types the final grass evo is weak against, so it looks like we know which of the three won't have an easy time with it. I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even. |
Well, four of the six are stationary according to the screenshots. I doubt Hiidoran (from what I remember, just like it sounds, Heatrun) will be moving though it's possible. Regi and the Ghost Dragon are like Diaruga and Parukia in their placement which mirrors that of Mewtwo in R/B.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even. |
You mean Togetic's evolution? I already know that one has some ridiculously high base stats, but I think it isn't pure normal but Normal/Flying. And I'll take note of the small slug-like creatures not being pre-evos. They're different colors depending on which side of Shinou you catch them.
FELIPE NO ![]() The text is part of the image and the two squires aren't exactly even. |
Absol was Dark? In R/S/E wasn't he Dark/Normal?

Animated sprites, and some new stuff. Kureseria is only female, BTW.
