I remember reading about this in The New Yorker awhile back, though I don't recall any specifics.
It is a very strange program, though, and I do wonder if it works to actually add any diversity to America. Wouldn't most people just come from larger, poorer countries where more people would sign up for it? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
