Well google is a profit based company but 'Stupid' is one thing they aren't.
The copyright stuff is to avoid getting sued for leniance, people tend to hunt for lawsuit cash much more when there're big, rich corporations involved. Google is just trying to stay "in the safe". They still suck for south park, tho. Jam it back in, in the dark.
