Favorited List:
Ultima 7 : The Black Gate and Serpent Isle
Baldur's Gate Saga
Wing Commander 3 and 4
Masters of Magic
Morrowind
Tribes 1
Quake 2 and Duke3D
Loom and Monkey Island

The Details:
Favorite game(s).. hmmm [never can choose just one]
Ultima 7 : The Black Gate and Serpent Isle wins a favorite in my list. That game was so very well developed, there are few that are like that, if any these days... [single player]

Morrowind makes my list but, it doesn't quite capture the player like Ultima 7, but gives plenty of free reign, and OH the Awesome thing about Morrowind : MODS.... OMG, modded Morrowind looks like Oblivion :P [well it sure comes much closer]
Players have professionaly replaced, all the textures, most models, fixed all the original bugs the developers never fixed, etc etc etc [I have 10 gigs of mods to try :P] (someone claimed to have 50!]

The Baldur's Gate makes the list for being the closest thing to Ultima in a whole amazing compelling story of its own. Surpassing Ultima in character development; and of course what's the thing I love? MODS!!! Once again, Baldur's Gate has a strong mod base: Romances, AI changes, quests, etc; although much less freeform than Morrowind or Ultima [minus :(] But, for a semi-linear story it is excellent.

Tribes 1 gets a favorite. That game I feel is in a place of its own. Immmmmmmmensely sadly it doesn't reach the potential in mods that it could be by annnnny means. But the original game, strictly multiplayer is still one of the best in my opinion out there. If people would have just modded it like Morrowind...

Quake 2 gets a favorite, before Tribes I was pure Q2. Some damn good times. I can still hear the railgun and know the feel of that rocket...! QUAD DAMAGE!

Masters of Magic is HANDS DOWN the best strategy magic game there is that I've played [Age of Wonders and the like were fun, but they never had that same addictiveness I felt with MoM!] I'll never forget summoning Warrax the Chaos Warrior... Call the Void... BOOM!!

Wing Commander 3 and a little bit less 4 makes a favorite... Those games need to be fixed up in High Def and re-released. Those were the sexiest flight simulator games I've played. Strong story, memorible characters; Live GOOD actors?! Sigh! What the hell happened with the Wing Commander Movie wt... was that lol The games were great.

Loom and Monkey Island had some of the best atmosphere, and until The Longest Journey came along, the only adventure games I really played~
[never could get into the others]

Quake 1 and Duke3d left lasting impressions~ Those games have OWNAGE! I still remember Ultimate Quake, a mod where you could be a Jedi, Predator, Alien, Quake guy, Magic user, Warrior, etc etc etc I remember the Quake 1 movie demo that was like 3 hours long with voice acting, a story and everything lol I haven't seen a demo of Quake quality since then :P

I haven't really played many recent recent games so I can't comment on them.

Worms games were great fun but didn't feel a great depth to them :P
Sims is a good game, but for me it was like a one time thing.
Starcraft was pretty sweet, but I eventually went back to games I liked more like Tribes :P
Half-Life 1 was really great, but I haven't really thought about it or replayed it much since.

Finally of course there are emulators and imported games that I've found to be really sweet and different but since there style is more like a console game [although PC] I'll leave em out :P

I tried Deus Ex but I died after 1 minute of playing... :P [I think I pulled out a rocket or something and used it]

Diablo 2 was a fun game, but GRRR I invested time into it to have the accounts auto-disabled since I didn't login to it during the summer [happened to 3 fully pumped with character accounts I made!] The fact that I could login, see my characters but couldn't restore them just made me say. Okay no more. :P 4#@423423$234@#$2342342
EDIT: I miss Mr Fujisawa one of the oddest characters for D2 I made... It was a Barbarian, that basically was built for ridiculous speed, jumping and... PUNCHING! That's right he never had a weapon, I beat Diablo by PUNCHING! Used punching skills combined with great artifacts to do poison, shock, knockback, fear and all sorts of damage lol it never failed to make people laugh

Oh and Max Payne 1 and 2... I've gotten really interested in trying that game, I think I'll get it partially thanks to seeing it favorited multiple times ;)

Jam it back in, in the dark.
