Yeh seems so, and I thought he was the bad guy! I suspect that he and the doctor knew each other, but I think that he knows he cant stop Sylar so he is using that guy to absorb their powers (as it seems obvious that it is the brain that holds the key to all their powers) this way he controls all their powers.

Trying to fill the void between now and the return of Lost and 24, I've caught on to Heroes...man they didnt hype this show up at all, and its brilliant I would rank it more like smallville but slightly better. I've been waiting for a down to earth super hero series, lets hope it stays that way!
Im not liking Niki anymore, great to see her on screen but thats just pure eye candy, and the double personality thing has been done to death already.

Could peter be like Rogue in Xmen, because Sylar should of wooped his ass, not been thrown off the building like that. Also his brother couldnt carry him when he flew, but when Claires dad tried to catch him he flew at super sonic speed. If he can fly at that speed then he must be able to carry someone!??!

Does seem to apply to Claire or the painter guy, but their powers they don't have to be conscious decision

Possible but the super sonic speed maybe out of fear (but the way he crouched and jumped seemed like he knew what he was doing) the dodgy landing that Hero witness would also suggest that he hasnt fully mastered it yet.

I have some questions and theories

Nobody has really talked about the Haitian man, when Mr Bennet caught Edan she couldn't use her powers. (However how come Nathan was able to fly escape the Haitian and Mr Bennet, his powers weren't blocked).

But it was Edan that stop Slyar (or was it the Haitan that blocking him using his powers, and Edan controlling his thoughts)?

I starting to think that this Haitian maybe able to truely absorb people powers, he held sylars head as he took him to the ground, as if to be sucking something out, powers/memories?? Whoever he is he seems the most important element to Mr Bennet efforts.


Regarding Hiro, remember he telephoned himself, after that he couldn't use his powers. Now that two Hiro's exist I'm thinking that Hiro will have to kill himself. What if Hiro travels to parallel dimensions, it could explain why he looked so different when he appeared on the tube train with Peter. Has anyone seen Jet Li's 'The One'.

Hey now we know why Sylar cuts the heads off with such care. Will Sylar get Claires tumour???? Or since Hiro saved Claire from Sylar, Sylar won't have gained her powers.
I don't think Sylar consumes their brains, remember when the Edan and the guy broke into Sylars house, all those jars in the cupboard that blocked the hidden room, must of had brains in them. Sylar simple disects them, and examins them. He is then able to figure it all out in his head, thus learning how to use that power himself.

Whats everyones favourite power, we still haven't seen a super strong person yet. Mine would have to Sylars.

Yeh I did notice a difference in Sylar apparence too, did look completely different. You know what, he said his father was a clock maker, maybe it is his father, he could have shape shifting abilities. It would explain also how he hid in the shadows in the locker room.

Yes Edan has power off persuasion, I agree the hiatian must be able to block people powers, and erase memories (like he was told to do with the college kid, but the suggestion was made he could create memories too).
So this could be the end of Sylar then, Peter's short contact with him may of transferred some of that badness into him. I take it everyone noticed that Peter fixed his broken foot way after Claire had left.

Regarding Mr Bennett and the Hiatian, I should of said he was his most important tool. Im hoping more of Mr Bennett's background we be revealed next episode.

I think because Peter is the loving one, he has deeper rooted emotions a stronger connection with his brother (as someone mentioned earlier) may of given him that ability, he was able to predict it, he just say it through his brothers eyes pretty much. He didnt know his father died, beacuse he hated him.

I think he must of been kept in the same cell, and interview room as the radiation guy. Remember when the cops came to the house they had to quickly leave because of the radiation levels. We don't know how long the radiation guy was held for in jail. And Peter seemed to get worse when Claire and her dad came in, he would of been able to heal himself if it had not been for the Haitian.

Yeh I noticed the way Claire looked at him too, everyone else ran away but Nathan didn't seem concerned at all!?! Maybe if Peter stays with Claire he wont explode, just implode lol.

Maybe when all the heroes gang together Peter will go into overload. I can't remember a time when he has been with more than one hero.

I have no idea where they are going with the nikki story, even this episode progressed no further than the last episode.
Oh yeh and what exactly is turning herself going to do??? As soon as she turns back into Jessica, she will go on a killing spree. She should of just got a plane ticket and moved to iceland.

I can't wait to see Hiro fight a T-Rex, I suspecting that he will have a Groundhog Day experience, everytime he gets killed he wakes up to fight it again, like a continue coin in an arcade game. He will slowly master it, and become one bad ass ninja/samurai

If you go by the sylar theory that Bennett had of changing his DNA. The process could exspell atlot of energy, as his body and mind change.

Sylar broke out simple cos the Hiatian was with Claire not with Edan when she entered the room. I bet everytime someone entered the room, he tried using his power, this time he noticed something different. Remember when he was first put in there, he walked around the room scanning it, he found the weakest point it was the glass.
She obviously did not tell Bennett, Sylar had started to figure out her power that why it wasnt working when she commanded it.

Found it really dumb she didnt just command him straight away, she had to tell the whole story...lame (like the bad guy tell the good guy the evil plot, giving him enough time to escape and stop it).

I like how his cover is Primatech Paper Company, do we know if Linderman is associated with it??

Show takes place after the events of T2, and the story follows Sarah Connor (Lena Heady) and her son John (Dekker).

I'm not liking the title, but shall see how the pilot goes.

If you watch it again, the asian guy (forgot his name) steps out the car smiling, then he looks down in horror and runs. Its the same with everyone except Nathan and Hiro (who turns away looking sad) Claire mouthes out the words "I'm Sorry".
I think Nathan stands next to him so that Peter can use his power to fly away.

Nobody picked this up but to me it sounds like Sylar is angry who he has become, an addict - killing to collect powers.

Im still uncertain how Sylar is able to block out Edan powers, he hasn't absorbed them yet because he says to her that he will. My current conclusion is that because he understand how it works it has no effect.

Did anyone notice that sylar is always left in the dark until someone comes in to visit, it would seem then that he can only use his power of analysis with sight. Therefore a good way to stop him would be to blind him.

Another thing I noticed, is that Hero doesn't have his sword or goaty, so Peter premanition happens before we see Hero fight a T-Rex. Which is disappointing cos I can't wait for that episode lol

One thing I dont like doing is reading spoilers for shows this good, ruins all the hard work the writters have put into it!
It was just an assumption as they all have to meet somehow, so that is just my stab in the dark!

Yes I brought up the same point when the episode aired but I thought it was the Hiatian.

But I like that theory alot, its the slap yourself in the face its been right under your nose. Its make alot of sense than the Hiatian having multiple powers.

You could say that Nathan is not like the others, this guy could one day be President, he is the only one truely able to go against Linderman. So it may of been some foresight on Bennet's part to let him go. (Maybe Bennet has to know beforehand what the person's ability is, he doesn't go running around in the dark looking for these Heroes. Remember Sylar said they are alot alike, maybe their powers both require then to study the person. One thing that Nathan doesnt do is blag about what his powers are, they arent obvious).

Lastly

If Bennet is the one that buffers powers, then he will be the one that has to save Peter from exploding

Another good episode, cliff hanger of an ending. Sylar is freaking me out now lol I like the tick tock sound that plays when his on screen. I think Bennett has turned him into bigger monster than he was now.

I guess now Sylar and Bennett are face to face, Bennett will show he true colours, if he has powers or not. For his sake I hope he does, otherwise Sylar will redecorate the room with him eek!

So Jessica cant be Claires mother, I guess Linderman is behind the cover up, but what did they do that forced the mum to give Claire up, I doubt the Haitian was about then, because the mum seems to know about Claire's existance

Really interested to find out more about Hiro and his father, should make some great drama with them two
