We have a gas oven at home. I love it. I hate the ones at school, though. They're electric and everything gets burnt, no matter how much we adjust the temperature/time. Break and bake cookies (that say to cook for ~10 or 11 minutes) burn around 7. It makes me never want to cook anything. The stove part is fine, though.
