I haven't considered reinstalling the game in a very long time. If I ever get the urge to and encounter the same problem, I'll see if you can help me.
 The sheer number of times I've played through the game and its sequel have sort of burned me out on Baldur's Gate in general, though. :|Most amazing jew boots |
