Why aren't the new updates showing up on the main page? Is that just me? I can only access it by going to the "list posts by date" thing..

Anyhow, excellent update. Final Smashes sound like they're going to be really fun. That X track sounds really cool, too.

What's up with the character selection screen there? If those are the starters, I guess I was wrong in assuming that all of the characters announced so far are starters.

Kinda disappointed that Waluigi isn't a playable character.. but double updates are always nice. Waluigi would have been amusing because he would've had to be even more awkward than Luigi. To this day, Luigi is the only character I'm not good with in the slightest in Melee.

No, I stand by my statement that it's mildly disappointing. Luigi was always fun for joke battles where all players involved would intentionally pick the character they were worst with. Also a good choice to use against beginners. I don't necessarily have to be good with a character for them to be fun in some way. :P

Nah, you'd see the "Challenger Approaching" image before you saw anything else. They always do that when they announce a new character.

I'm personally not a Zelda fan at all, but I thought Twilight Princess was definitely a well-made game.

And you probably have a good point... I'm going into Brawl with extraordinarily high expectations. I hope I'm not setting myself up for disappointment.

Having Andy in the game would be great, though. Pokemon Rival seems like a really cool idea, too. And Wolf Link + Midna. Would be awesome.

We've been over the fact that even if he did know, he wouldn't be able to say anything. Non-disclosure agreement, and all.

Also, I believe I heard quite awhile ago (when there was only one third party character announced) that there would be one or two more third party characters introduced.

I really like today's update. It kind of reminds me of the license board from FFXII... except its implementation here is much better.

Anyhow, the delay doesn't upset me too much since I wasn't going to have the cash to get a Wii + SSBB in time anyway. Maybe now I will. The Pikmin stage looks pretty awesome btw.

I've already resigned myself to the fact that I'm going to be spoiled for a ton of hidden stuff, and it doesn't really bother me. After all, I knew about all the hidden characters in Melee before I ever got it. Then again, I didn't get it until several years after it came out...
