I believe in the right to bear arms very heavily, especially during these times when people are more dangerous than ever recorded in history. I own a 9x18 Makarov. Its its rounds are a bit wider than a 9mm's rounds (closer to a .380), but the rounds are almost as long as an 9mm's. That Makarov can actually chamber a .380 round but as far as firing one, I'm not sure.

If I could have another gun, I'd go for the Semi-Automatic .357 Sig Sauer Pro pistol. Its is the first gun I've ever shot I like the way it handles. I like it much better than the standard 9mm, even though the 9mm recoil usually allows for better accuracy during continuous firing.

My dream gun is a Fully-Automtic .40 caliber pistol w/ interchangeable barrel allowing .45 caliber rounds. I'd also keep an extended mag for when I needed the fully automatic capabilities. I'd love to own a gun like that, but fully automatic pistols COST!!

How ya doing, buddy?

Standard 9mm is 0.355, but a number of different rounds use this diameter bullet, including .380, .357 sig, and .38 Super

Edit:

10mm doesn't kick? You're kidding, right? 10mm is a very beefy round... it's like a souped-up .40 S&W...

Wow... alright David4516, the first portion is for you.

I don't know the exact diameter of the rounds, but I do know that I noticed the .357 sig sauer pro had noticeably better kick than the 9mm that the Navy guys had in the booth next to me.

I would really like to have a fully automatic pistol, and to be honest, it probably doesn't matter how large the rounds are. I'd settle for a fully automatic 9mm at this point. I fell in love with the one that John Travolta was firing at the end of face off. I even liked the pair Brad Pitt was firing at the end of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. At this point, I just want a fully automatic pistol

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Thanks, David4516, for your insight! You are really knowledgeable (sp?).

Yeah, you're right, but I live in Maryland and got to the armory, where they sell the big stuff. Its not really hard to get your hands on what you want there. Thanks for letting me know that the fully-autos I had been speaking of are props. I still like the way they are deplicted to fire, though.

It is definitely apparent that both of you know more about guns than I. Perhaps one of you might know how to add more power to the rounds by adding more firing powder. I wasn't able to read the links I was sent because I'm at work now ;_;

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Thanks, Gumby, I'm not gonna add any more powder, but I was curious about it.

Whatup, Manis? How ya feel?

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
