xxxHOLiC was thought-provoking to me and sort of played out in the similar manner of Jigoku Shoujo. They both explored the nature of human intent.
Boogiepop Phantom had thought-provoking aspects, although not necessarily philosophical per se. Infinite Ryvius was thought-provoking and realistic. What would you do under the same circumstances? It's actually frightening and the way everyone started slowly losing their minds was very real. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
