I rarely swear when I'm talking in English. Yes, occasionally I do let out a "fuck" or a "shit" but that totally depends on the situation and who I'm talking with. In Malay, however... well... I guess it's summed up by the fact that I greet some people by going "oi <swear word>".
When I talk to myself, though, I tend to swear a lot. When I'm playing a game or practicing guitar I sometimes let out some profanities if I get frustrated. I've been trying to cut down, and it seems I've succeeded a bit. Although whenever I stub my toe or something I tend to let out some profanities. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
