Nasty Virus/Spyware
I somehow got a very nasty virus/spyware. Whenever I boot up my laptop, the background picture on my desktop is changed to a blueish screen with large letters saying that my computer has been infected with a spyware, click here to fix the problem.
I've booted up my laptop using safe-mode and downloaded the latest definition and version of Spybot Search and Destroy and AVG anti-virus. I ran both programs in safe-mode, without any success. When I re-boot my laptop, I still get the blueish screen with the warning message. Suggestions? Thanks. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() Dance party! |
I'm using Windows XP. Media Center edition.
Thanks, I'll give those programs a shot! There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() Dance party! |
