Everytime I've ever been set up it ended in failure. Yet I keep letting it happen anyway.
One of my friends is pushing really hard for me to date one of her friends, because she's shy and sweet and all that nonsense... but you know, they always say that about pretty much everyone and it rarely actually turns out to be true. (well, sometimes they seem shy/introverted but rarely all that "nice")
Maybe I just expect too much out of people, but I don't really know. I just know it's left me pretty bitter about match making in general. I could go into details about the last time, but I whined enough about it to people and in my journal I think.
