beatmania US version

I've always wanted to actually try beatmania, as I do like quite a few of the songs from the games, but I've never taken the plunge. Now that there is a US version coming out, I was considering getting it. I'm sure it will have a lot of crappy songs on it, can anyone tell me what the playlist will be like on this one? And if I'll be albe to use the controller included here with any current and future import beatmania titles? Thanks.

That should be most of what we're going to get, since that's 48 songs and Konami's been advertising it as having "over 50 songs."
