Wasn't it said that there would be at least one more third party character?

This will most likely never happen, but just think how cool it would be if Earthworm Jim was ever in a SSB game.

Go Nintendo » Blog Archive » More Brawl impressions - Rosalina the assist trophy, and more!- What are you waiting for?
- Kirby feels more like his N64 counterpart - The Pokemon Trainer shouts out the names of the Pokemon he uses - Duster (Mother 3) and Rosalina are assist trophies - Sandbag is an item This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

Rumor mill:
Someone posted this on Gamefaqs a few months ago
Appearently, quite a few people saw the message when he posted it. Probably a coincidence, but it's still interesting. I'm posting it here just so we can see if this was actually a leak or not after the game is released. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |

Wii Live » Blog Archive » More Brawl Jump Festa Demo Info Revealed!
- New Pokeball Pokemon: Metagross (hovers above the ground and then stabs it, causing an earthquake), Onix (returns from the 64 version and I assume does the same thing), Garchomp, Castform, Regigigas (starts out slow and then turns red, and then uses what is thought to be Crush Grip), Gardevoir (we knew about Gardevoir from E for All) - New Assist Trophies: Duster from the Mother games, Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy (throws out star pieces for a few seconds, which heal you. A Luma also comes out with her), Sothe from the Fire Emblem series, Pegasus Knight from the Fire Emblem series (this is rumored, we still don’t know if it’s true or not), as well as Lakitu and Samurai Goroh (which we knew already) - New Items: Sandbag, Soccer ball (it turns to fire when you kick it and it can’t be countered or caught), Timer (slows down your opponents, but sometimes it will slow you down instead) - Both Pokemon Trainer and Pit say something when they do their Final Smashes. Pokemon Trainer says, “Ikuzo! Sanmittai!” which was on the DOJO in his Final Smash update, so we can expect him to say “Take That! Triple Finish!” in the english version. - Wario’s techniques come out slow, but powerful - They got some of this information from videos of characters playing, like videos of Pokemon Trainer, Lucas, Snake, Zelda, and more. - One of Snake’s attacks is a remote mine I was speaking idiomatically. |

Bah to Rainbow Cruise. I could careless about that stage and I never was a fan of the music.
With Hyrule Temple, Onett, Yoshi's Island, Corneria, Brinstar, and Rainbow Cruise confirmed, that puts a lot of danger (consider them out) onto Great Bay (good riddance), Fourside, Yoshi's Story (good riddance), Brinstar Depths(bummer), and Peach's Castle (bummer). What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |

^I'm pretty sure there will be plenty more characters. I think we just have to accept that we won't be getting any new characters updates until after at least the japanese release date. More possibly not until it's released everywhere else.

The game is already done. There's no reason for the release date to be pushed back even more. It's coming out in February.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

Brawl's gone gold. Japan's got commercials. All they have to do is set English to default and copy them for America and ship it. Don't believe bogus delays people, the Dojo would tell us.
If we were getting another delay, he would have told us THAT today, instead of the awesome update we got today. GO OLIMAR!! Never ever ever ever ever ever trust a retailer for release dates, NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
