Are there any other files on the floppy that go with the program, particularly anything ending in .dll? It may be that the program is scanning whatever current directory it's sitting in (on the HDD) for a supporting file it needs.
If so, create a new folder on your hard drive and copy ALL the files in the floppy over to the new folder, preserving the directory structure. Let us know how that turns out. Jam it back in, in the dark. It is not my custom to go where I am not invited. |
