Comparing this list to the PS2 Collection. Anything I starred was in the PS2 version.

Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle*
Alien Storm
Altered Beast*
Beyond Oasis
Bonanza Bros.*
Columns*
Comix Zone*
Decap Attack starring Chuck D. Head*
Dr. Robotnik's MBM
Dynamite Headdy
Ecco the Dolphin*
Ecco II: The Tides of Time*
E-SWAT
Fatal Labyrinth
Flicky*
Gain Ground*
Golden Axe I*
Golden Axe II*
Golden Axe III*
Kid Chameleon*
Phantasy Star II*
Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom*
Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium*
Ristar*
Shining in the Darkness
Shining Force
Shining Force 2
Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master*
Sonic 3D Blast
Sonic and Knuckles
Sonic Spinball
Sonic the Hedgehog*
Sonic the Hedgehog 2*
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Streets of Rage
Streets of Rage 2
Streets of Rage 3
Super Thunder Blade*
Vectorman*
Vectorman 2*

Games not on the list but that were on the PS2 Collection:

Ecco Jr.
Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi
Sword of Vermilion
Virtua Fighter 2

So we lose four games(of which Sword of Vermilion is probably the only real loss although some people might miss Shadow Dancer as well) but in return gain 16 other games, most of which are good ones(Streets of Rage series, Sonic 3, Shining Force series, Shining in the Darkness, etc).

For a sec there I was thinking "Isn't Beyond Oasis a Game Gear game?" but then remembered that the Game Gear had Defender of Oasis, not Beyond Oasis. Is Beyond Oasis part of the same series as Defender or is it just a coincidence that they have similar names and are both by Sega?

If this is $29.99 I'll be very tempted to get it. On one hand it has a lot of repeat games for me but on the other it has a lot of stuff I don't have but really want(especially the Shining Force series).

Jam it back in, in the dark.
