They have a d/l for it on X-Box Live? *Makes note to look for it later. Just got Live about a month ago and I keep forgetting to d/l previews even though my brother does it all the time*

But I imagine it'll be hard to really tell about the story and characters just off a demo. I find it funny the complaints about "not as cool as the Abyss crew" considering when Tales of the Abyss first came out, I heard everyone bitching about how they weren't as cool as the Sypmphonia crew and the same complaints when Symphonia came out about previous Tales games. The only complaints that seem to have stuck are the ones from Tales of Legendia.

And Tales has always had bland music that's neither good nor bad. Just forgettable. I hope that we'll be allowed to set the controls how we want them in the final product. Seems like something that should be included as standard in games like this.

Hearing that Tales of Symphonia 2 is going to be done by the team that made Legendia worries me. Seeing how I like the original Symphonia as well as Abyss, this gives me high hopes for Vesperia.

I don't see why anyone cares if someone goes and pays money to unlock something you can get via playing through the game. Are they spending your money? Stealing your game? Trying to rape your dog or something? Is it a worse game because someone went and bought something you can get on your own anyways?

It seems silly not to buy the game just because someone can unlock something earlier by blowing extra cash on it.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I enjoyed Symphonia and Abyss, didn't like Legendia all that much. So here's hoping it takes inspiration from the proper source.

As for the market, I'm apathetic. I mean look at what people pay for virtual gear in just about every MMORPG so why should we be shocked that they might do the same for a console RPG? It doesn't detract from my fun so if they want to waste their money I figure let them. The money I don't waste on that can go to other videogames or more likely books.

Picked up the game earlier today. So far so good. Can't comment on the story so far as I'm barely a couple of hours in but I'm enjoying the game so far.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I still don't think people should be complaining so much, if it was announced at the time of release that a PS3 port would happen with extra stuff...people would still of bought the X360 version just because of how long the wait was. The only thing they have room to complain about is that the content wont be available to them. Kinda sucks but oh well.

Pity they can't at least make it downloadable content. Say $10 to get everything. Costs 360 owners a bit more but at least they can get everything without having to pay another $60 for the game.
