I like psionics. I played a Psion during 2nd Edition. We found out that in 2nd Edition that Psionics were highly abuseable because you could have disintegrate by level 4 or 5 if I remember correctly. Anyways 3/3.5 Edition while not fixing everything balanced out a lot of classes. Unfortunately the skill system is still something of a mess. At low levels the odds of failing a skill check are unreasonably high. I don't know how they can fix that though without a complete restructure of how D&D works.
Of course my favorite class remains a Necromancer. I'd really like to try out the Loremaster or Dread Necromancer classes from Tome of Horrors though. How ya doing, buddy? |
