Transformers: War for Cybertron - 30 Points

Fuck the haters, this is this year's Arkham. Fantastic campaign, G1 chops, great and well balanced gameplay. Nice level design, shit works awesome.

Plus it's got the best multiplayer of the year. Why did you not play it? Perfect balance between all four classes? Yup. All perks and abilities have valid uses? Yup. Great maps that flow well for all 4 vehicle types and bot modes? Shit yeah. I put over 60 hours into the multiplayer in this game and it's so fucking good. What up now, bitches.

VVVVVV - 10 Points

Soundtrack of the forever. Game of the feeling good about yourself if you only die 600 times. Pretty fucking clever level design, pretty fucking awesome everything.

Donkey Kong Country Returns - 10 Points

While forcin dat waggle on folks is kinda bunk, if you put in the classic controller Gecko code you'll be in heaven. Game has some of the best level design in a platformer in the last ten years, also Shiny Golds will make you madface.

Split/Second - 10 Points

Another woefully underperforming game, which is a shame because haha I JUST HIT YOU WITH A DUMP TRUCK BEING HAULED AROUND BY A HELICOPTER. Surprisingly deep game when it came to the online races, too. Absolutely bonkers, love this game to bits.

Honourable Mention: Super Mario Galaxy 2, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Resonance of Fate, Bayonetta.
