As noble as that is, Namco will "grace" us with this remake and nothing more. There's no way in hell they'd do something NEW.
I'm just glad it's not going to the 360, where there would be DLC for new hats for Klonoa, and each one would cost you 10 dollars. There would be four hundred of them. One would have the Team Aces logo, one would have a Tales character on it, some Valkyrie No Densetsu hat, and one would have some reference to The Tower of Druaga, which would make some faggots feel hardcore for getting. Either that or we could pay to go straight to the last level. I dunno. Jam it back in, in the dark.
