Haven't you heard, Deni? Less expositional dialog means the story is worse. An artfag such as you must know this.

And this goes doubly true for the shitstorm that this thread will turn into if we leave this shit going unattended.

I'm impressed. I basically said before that if they were serious they'd go after FFXIII and they did. I don't think this is going to have much impact in Japan but the sales figures in the US shall be interesting.
It won't have any actually, they've decided that Japan won't be getting the 360 version.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I highly doubt the format LO and BD were pressed on determined their overall design as much (if at all) as plenty of other factors did. They were fucking JRPGs following a very traditional formula. I wouldn't go so far as to say being on DVDs changed the design doc there all that much.

Edit: You know what, fuck it. Argument for this is silly. Other statement removed.

Wait, not being impressed by a dull trailer makes you a hater now?

Stop being a sack of shit, Evenstar. The man's entitled to his opinion.

You are a colossal idiot.

Perhaps you haven't learned yet from all the mocking you've gotten here, but you should probably quit with that whole posting thing while you're ahead, Charlie. Stick to Community if your existence will solely be for lulz, thanks.

Skills if you're going to poke fun at someone for English difficulties you just might want to make sure you don't have any yourself.

Sometimes I wonder about you, my friend.

I'm sure it can't be that hard to create more original looking characters for each game.

- She uses striped socks in bat- Spears, she uses spears
- Her summon is Bahamut
- She works for Sanctum[/b][/color]
It's sad that this is how I had to determine the gender.

And jesus, I'm surprised. I would have figured any FF related Slims would have been a tad bit more gaudy, but this is at least more subdued than I was expecting.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Sounds like the exact opposite of XII then. The cities seemed a bit too big, and it was weird having all those NPCs while only a few would actually speak.
If you sounded like a man but looked like a woman, and walked into a big city, how many average joe motherfuckers do you think would actually respond to you in conversation if you walked up to them and asked them for anything.

If you were wearing that tiny chain link metal vest I would ignore the fuck out of you too.

Yeah, I assume every single posted impression is incorrect too because they're all looking for something to hate.

Especially when they all bring up the exact same issue.

Swapping discs doesn't ruin the fun unless you've got to do it back and forth multiple times, like Star Ocean 4.

Granted, in SO4, there wasn't much fun to ruin, so whatever.

Also totally looking forward to not having fun for the first 15 to 20 hours, if all the reviews are to be believed.

No matter how poor the 360 version is technically, it has to be better than Last Remnant and that wasn't unplayably bad, plus I don't own a Triple, so it looks like I'm getting the 360 version although not for a while yet, I'm not paying full price for it when I have so many other unplayed games on the shelf.
TLR's case was more "HOW DO I UE3" instead of "Crystal Tools pulls the cutscenes-are-actually-a-prerendered-video-using-high-poly-assets" thing.

FF games all have retarded stories and any exploration in them is simply as exercise in making you walk around aimlessly to spark more annoying random battles to satisfy some weird kids' OCD desire to collect things in games.

Hmm. Yes. Every single side quest for the secret boss and several multiple rare monster fights for small 30 point achievements, grinding monster dismantling and equipment recycling all come completely naturally on a regular playthrough. >=(
