Hey Stefan, got any pics of the cabinets you swap these in and out of to play? I'd love to see what sort of set up you've got going.

I would've chosen Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner as my free game, but it was too late before I realized it was there. Until next time...
Go back and get it.

I don't care if it's a two hour drive. Go.

I SAID GO.

Replay the game as Naked Jehuty and you'll have all the Zero Shift opportunities you could possibly ask for.

I bought the Bringing Down The Sky expansion for Mass Effect. I beat it within an hour or so, it was decent and worth 400 Microsoft points. But nothing more, I wish they would have added another city or something for exploration, either way it was a decent diversion until something bigger comes out for the Mass Effect Series.
As someone who hated Mass Effect's sidequests, but loved it's main story arc, would I appreciate this added quest or not? I'm not entirely certain how much I'd like this, and I hear varied reports on it's quality. I've considered dropping some points for it, but I've been on the fence.

if it turns out to be completely unplayable.
Regardless if the disc actually functions or not, this is basically what's going to happen, yes.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Hay guys, what's goin on in this internet. Yeah, shut up, I like my bedspread. It's colourful and has fishies on it. Fuck you.

Rows~

1)
Zone of the Enders 1 + guide! Because for some reason I didn't have that yet.

Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX guide I don't know why Daravon was selling this but ok.

Dragon Quest I & II guide GBC garmin.

Dragon Quest III guide Also GBC garmin guide. Balllllllin.

2)
Wipeout XL Because I can't wait for Wipeout HD.

Zelda DX and Metroid 2: Return of Samus Because both my carts decided to die, so I needed new ones! Not even battery problems, they just won't boot. Don't even know why. REPLACEMENTS

Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest loooooool, hi Daravon.

Final Fantasy Adventure, Legend, Legend II, and Legend III. All complete. Had L3 complete already but this came as a set. Double ballin.

A third SNES Because one of the ones I have doesn't want to boot (Dad left it out in the camper OVER WINTER ARG) and the other one's controller port number 2 JUST DIED (not a pin problem, uncertain of actual issue here) a little while ago when trying to play DKC with Rat. This one works and isn't yellow so double A+

A Saturn sup ronz

3)
The World Ends With You. Part of a 2/40 deal from Rogers. Holy shit the music. <3

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Faggots Special Edition. About 4 hours in and I think I may have actually played the game for about twenty or thirty seconds in there somewheres.

Ninja Gaiden II No slipcase for Canucks. SADFACE. And a bit green bloch that says HAS FRENCH DUB. Le sigh.

SNES Multitap Yeehaw time for some Secret of Mana

Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy Fuck yes you are awesome.

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology Other part of the 2/40. After 25 dollar gift card, was like...7.50 plus tax. Pretty neat.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Why would there be a GH version of BG&E? Only four people bought it.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it though. It's quality.

Hmmm, that's the first I heard of it, but a reprint of that now seems so...odd. The timing's all wrong, how soon it's to be released doesn't make sense, and the fact that it showed up in Canada first are all kinda fishy.

It's be nice, but it seems like a very, VERY strange decision. Gonna have to see if it's bullshit or not, I guess.

I think it was actually made in one of Ubi's actual French dev houses, and not Ubisoft Montreal.

Wiki seems to agree, but I can't find more info on that to back it up.

I live in Winnipeg as well, so which store is this? (And how much did he charge you. FF7 isn't worth very much, so I'm just trying to see if you got ripped off.)

It's not PNP games is it? (Please say no)

Fuck, I editted it in too late.

Yeah, PNP overcharges like a motherfucker. They do a lot of eBay auctions too, pretty much all of which are ridiculous prices.

80 is a tad (and by a tad I mean a fuckload) too much for a copy of FF7, my friend.

Edit:

I remember them trying to sell a cart only Chrono Trigger when they first opened for close to a hundred bucks. I lul'd. I think there was an incomplete Star Ocean 2 there (without manual) for like...50 or something? I can't remember exactly. Regardless, it's another ripoff center. There are plenty of non-eBay routes to go where you can get some actual, y'know, decent prices instead of this.

It's like microplay. I don't know how they can even keep their doors open with their hilarity prices.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Oh, I'm glad you don't feel ripped off. I just laughed at the prices when I went in there that one time about a year back. As long as you think you got your money's worth, it's none of my business to tell you otherwise.

Also, 80 would have made sense if it were factory sealed. Wvlf's got the right idea. 30 bucks as a max for what sounds like a 7 or 8/10 as far as condition goes. And that's still pushing the upperbound past any sort of reasonable amount.

Edit: In the city? There are none, unfortunately. Online deal shopping is the best bet you're gonna get. Asking around at places like CAG trading lists is also a good idea, and very rarely will eBay have a good deal. PS1 games are exceptionally common, especially numbered Final Fantasy games, so it won't be too hard to track down.

Also yeah, that's me.

I sure wish I was fucking retarded cool enough to declare something I haven't yet played as GOTY.

"I'm checking, hold on" when you phone is code for "I'm putting the phone down on the counter for 30 seconds while I tickle my asshole with a feather duster", actually.

It's gotten more brazen recently though. They won't even check. It'll just be "I don't know what you're talking about" followed by being hung up on (Happened to me twice already) and just "Nope" without actually checking.

(For real nigga. Very not good. A shame, considering the first one.)

Also bought Demon's Souls. Killed the Red Eye'd Knight before having to study for a test. Tomorrow should be a good display of wrecking shit though. Looking forward to get fried on the damn bridge by the dragon again.

You're right.

For some reason I totally read that as Samurai Legend.

Holy fuck, brain fart. My bad, homedawg. Musta been the fact that I repeatedly see it for sale for 5 dollars, even these days lots of game retailers still have stock they can't offload.

As for console controls, the PC wins hands down. Definitely. The PS3 and the PC seem to be more or less on par in terms of graphics, but the Circle Box is a real step down from both. I've played it on PC and console, and although I miss the PC controls, I wouldn't recommend anyone away from the console versions. They're still smooth and very usable. Just not quite as slick as its PC counterpart.
