Ok, so glitchers are pretty much fucking terrible people. That's not really an issue.

Banning them, or threatening to do so, is a pretty hard thing to enforce, considering the lack of ability to discern if someone's actually DONE IT.

But why the fuck are solely end users being punished for a developer's mistake? I understand that actually doing it can't be justified, but neither can this reaction.

I mean, it's the fault of the developer to fix the problems, and to test their product. This didn't happen. It's also impossible to justify the cheating. There's blame on both sides, but this doesn't seem like the best fix. I don't even think there is one. Lose-lose all around.
