Genius tablets are incredibly cheap when compared to Wacoms, but it's a case of you getting what you pay for. For basic work which doesn't require a high degree of control, I imagine it should work out allright for you. And when it breaks, you won't feel too bad because it was pretty cheap to begin with.
If you're really serious about your work, I'd suggest just scouring the ends of the Internet for a retailer that can ship Wacom tablets to Egypt. They are abhorrently expensive (at least, the Intuos 3/Cintiq line), but they're as good as it gets.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
