Very cool series, with some great character designs and music. Originally I was a little bothered by Aya Hirano's voice since it seemed a little on the deep/mature side (Chiko's pretty young, after all), but I guess I've gotten used to it. The girl does age, anyway, so it's fine.
It's also kind of neat that Twenty Faces is based on a literary figure, though I can't say I'm really familiar with the series. His depiction in the anime seems to be spot on, though. The wild Engrish in the ED is a little bothersome, but I guess you can't win them all. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
It kind of feels like they should've just ended the season at episode 13 and left off the second half for later. Diving right back into the search just seems kind of rushed. On the other hand, I suppose now that the characters have settled into their roles, the story can finally move on to the "Detective Girls" stuff (unless I'm totally interpreting that ED the wrong way).
There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
