Kyoto Animation + Key has always been a good combination in the past, so I see no reason Clannad won't be a delicious offering (lol totally ignoring Toei's version).
Kind of interested that there are no supernatural hijinks going on, since I've been told that some people are really put off of Key works due to their reliance on such things in their stories. Perhaps Clannad will be the series to attract more mainstream audiences to Key's work. Perhaps it will lead to a Planetarian OVA (please). Who knows! One thing is for sure, anyway: moe blobs. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |

Besides, it leaves more room to do PLANETARIAN. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
Time to split the thread to Kairi Li and Everybody Else on WS.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
Surprised that Kairi Li hasn't already made a ton of posts about the subject, but After Story episode 1 has been aired and subbed by a couple groups.
Episode 1: AQS-Sprocket-TWH (XviD) SS-Eclipse (XviD) SS-Eclipse (h264) I've downloaded the episode from SS-Eclipse, but I haven't decided if I'm going to watch it yet. Seems that Clannad After Story will have the same airing pattern as Clannad did: episodes will air in 4:3 first, then air again in widescreen weeks later. Last season I waited a couple of weeks to watch the entire thing in widescreen, so I may just do the same thing here. A hassle, but I'd rather not watch something cropped if I can help it. I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() |
